
Maxim Stepman
My name is Maxim Stepman and I am a Strength & Powerlifting Coach at Specific Strength.
I have been practicing sports my whole life and got into strength sports when I was 16 years old, mainly to become stronger on the basketball court at first.
A little over a year after stepping onto the powerlifting platform for the first time in 2021, I started coaching some close friends for free. I quickly discovered that helping others achieve their goals was bringing me just as much (if not even more) joy as working towards my personal ones.
After having coached several athletes on the national level over the last couple of years, I can say that I have developed a big toolbox to give my athletes the best coaching experience possible. However, I am always finding ways to expand my knowledge and skills to improve as a coach in line with my athletes.
I really come to life when I can coach my athletes towards and at a powerlifting competition. But I am just as happy to start working with individuals who mainly want to improve their lifestyle through gaining general strength in the gym.
As a Strength & Powerlifting Coach at Specific Strength, I want to guide you to become a stronger and more confident lifter in- and outside the gym.
